Apart from just being historic sites, the Abu Simbel temples represent one of the greatest engineering feats of modern days. The two temples were relocated from their original site during the construction of Aswan high dam, to protect them from submerging in the lake that formed.
Lake Nasser is arguably one of the best places for freshwater fishing in the world. Nile perch and tiger fish are the popular catches there.
