You just have to make time to see the Haleakala National Park located on Maui. One of the things that this park has is the active volcano called Haleakala Crater. On the Big Island you will discover the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. This park happens to have another one of the active volcanoes, the Kilauea Volcano is worth making the time to see. You will also be able to explore some 333,000 acres. This includes such sights as a rain forest, lava tube, trails in and through the volcanoes, and an interesting museum to tour.
Pearl Harbor National Historic Landmark, Oahu In Oahu you’ll find the Pearl Harbor National Historic Landmark, another important national park to add to your itinerary while you are in the state of Hawaii. This is the park that is home to the USS Arizona Memorial. It was here that the United States was attacked by the Japanese on December 7, 1941. You’ll also be able to visit the Battleship Missouri Memorial as well as the USS Bowfin Submarine Museum and park as well while you are here.
Waimea Canyon State Park, Kauai Waimea Canyon state park is located in Kauai and you’ll find that the canyon is absolutely beautiful. You can take the drive along the canyon where you’ll find some great lookout points where you can stop and enjoy the beautiful views. You’ll find a variety of hiking trails to enjoy, including trails for advanced hikers and those for beginning hikers as well.
